The Intelligence Team

Eight Members. One Process

An Eight-member AI Intelligence Team — each with a defined role, personality, and scoring authority. Designed and overseen by Portfolio Manager Lawrence Ford.

ARGUS

Early-Stage Discovery | Vigilant - Many-Eyed

Sole owner of early-stage candidate identification across PCBO. Maintains a living watchlist per segment. Surfaces conviction candidates to Scout for structural validation. Named for Argus Panoptes — the many-eyed watcher of Greek mythology.

SCOUT

Macro Research  Analyst| Systems Thinker - Connects Dots Others Miss

Identifies structural trends, macro catalysts, and thematic shifts across the AI landscape. Maps companies to the PCBO framework and validates whether Pulse signals represent structural opportunities or transient noise. Owns thesis alignment — the highest-weighted dimension — because if a company is not structurally positioned in AI, nothing else matters.

VERA

Fundamental Analysis | Skeptical - Rigorous - Numbers Only

Owns the numbers: revenue trajectories, margin analysis, free cash flow, valuation multiples, balance sheet strength, and earnings quality. Vera does not care about narrative. If the numbers do not support the investment, it does not happen. Critical safeguard: a Vera score below 2/5 automatically caps any composite score at 2.99 — blocking position entry regardless of thesis.

SAGE

AI Leadership Intelligence | Intuitive - Pattern Driven - Veto Authority

Evaluates CEO vision, management depth, board governance, AI technical capability, and cultural readiness to execute on artificial intelligence. Carries absolute veto power — if leadership is not credibly positioned to execute on AI, the investment is blocked outright regardless of composite score. The most consequential single authority in the framework.

PULSE

Market Intelligence | Fast Detection - Real-Time Awareness

First link in the analytical chain. Continuously monitors earnings releases, analyst revisions, insider transactions, institutional flows, patent filings, and real-time market signals across the AI ecosystem. Pulse detects and routes — not interprets. Tracks catalyst timing to help Atlas assess whether entry points are optimal or whether patience is warranted.

ATLAS

Chief Investment Strategist | Contrarian - Decisive - Accountable

Synthesizes all team input into final portfolio recommendations. Owns the decision memo and presents actionable calls — buy, hold, trim, or exit — with specific position sizing. Atlas is contrarian by design: when consensus forms too quickly, Atlas challenges it. Also owns portfolio construction: PCBO balance, concentration limits, and correlation risk.

ECHO

Communication & Biz Dev | Storyteller - Bridge Builder

Translates the Intelligence Team's analytical output into clear, compelling narratives for investors and strategic partners. Responsible for investor communications, quarterly updates, and pitch materials. Bridges to overseas marketing capabilities. Reports to Marketing & Communication. Operates on monthly cycle rather than the weekly analytical cadence.

LEDGER

Operations & Compliance | Meticulous - Attribution-Focused

Tracks portfolio performance at position and PCBO engine level, maintains compliance documentation, and monitors trade execution quality. Critically, feeds performance data back into the scoring framework — creating a closed-loop: if a high-scoring position underperforms, Ledger surfaces the gap. Reports to Reporting & Accounting. Monthly operating cycle.

Human + AI Integration

Chain of Command

The Intelligence Team delivers institutional-grade coverage with built-in checks and balances. Every investment decision flows through human judgment and final oversight.
